Fruit jams and jellies
Since summer 2011, the company's range of products has been supplemented with the production of homemade jams and jellies. The fruit, all from our orchard, is extremely genuine, we take care of its health by following a strict protocol of integrated pest management.
It is harvested only when it reaches maximum ripeness and brought to the laboratory where, after careful selection, it is processed into jam. This allows us to obtain an optimal product without the addition of significant amounts of sugar as the plant-ripened fruit contains quantities of it.
The methodologies used allow us to preserve color and aroma without resorting to preservatives or antioxidants. Our jams may vary in assortment from year to year, as so many factors influence fruit production. In "normal" years we produce peach, apricot, plum, fig, and quince jams that are suitable for breakfasts or for making desserts.
Then we have spicy sangiovese grape jelly, pomegranate jelly, and white peach jam with rosemary to go with both fresh and aged cheeses or ricotta.
We believe they are all "special" because they contain a special ingredient: PASSION!
